Operations Assistant Manager

  • Day shift – weekdays
  • Regular hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm for a total of 44 hours per week

Your role as Operations Assistant Manager will be to ensure planning and support on the road, in the workshop and technical based on calls and requests from customers and our technicians. You will become the key person at the operational level for our point of service in Ontario. With a growth of nearly 191% in its turnover, you will collaborate with the National Operations Manager, and with the support of the technical department.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the implementation of the new service point in Grimsby.
  • Be the reference point for the implementation of the entire interior workspace and courtyard in Grimsby.
  • Ensure that machine loading and unloading is carried out efficiently and safely (by you or by one of our employees).
  • Ensure that equipment is kept in good working order (charging cycle, storage, etc.).
  • Plan works and projects according to priorities and availability (parts and labor).
  • Ensure business development with the aim of promoting the company and ensuring its growth.
  • Open and manage work orders, including invoicing.
  • Work in collaboration with the sales team to ensure excellent after-sales service.
  • Manage and optimize technicians' schedules.
  • Support and supervise technicians on the road and in the workshop.
  • Manage the fleet of mobile units (maintenance and repairs).
  • Collaborate in the management of the warranties of the various manufacturers.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics or electromechanics of automated systems.
  • Significant experience in similar functions.
  • Stimulate through challenges and the search for solutions.
  • A good command of IT and management tools.
  • Excellent priority management.
  • Ability to visualize equipment and a situation without having the machine in front of you.
  • Skilled communicator and mobilizing leadership.
  • Good ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Good judgment, ability to read one's environment and a spirit of synthesis.
  • Have a positive attitude, be open to change, be committed and have a good team spirit.

Salary and benefits

$75,000 to $105,000
