Sales Representative (Maritimes)

Are you motivated by prospecting, territory development, and closing sales? We are looking for a Sales Representative to grow and maintain our client base, identify new opportunities, and actively contribute to the company’s growth.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing an assigned territory, acquiring new clients, and fostering relationships with existing customers. You will provide tailored solutions to meet client needs, delivering a professional, proactive, and results-oriented experience.

Your Contribution to the Company’s Success :

Business Development and Prospecting

  • Identify and develop new clients within your assigned territory.

  • Conduct prospecting calls, field visits, and sales presentations.

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events.

  • Follow up on leads and opportunities generated by the marketing department.

Sales and Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.

  • Present and sell the company’s equipment, products, and services.

  • Identify client needs, such as fleet replacement or expansion.

  • Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales in line with objectives.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, deliveries, and provide basic training to clients.

Administrative Management and CRM

  • Record all prospecting activities, follow-ups, and sales in HubSpot (CRM).

  • Maintain an up-to-date client database.

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.

Product Knowledge and Safety

  • Develop a strong knowledge of equipment and new product offerings.

  • Test machines and master their basic functions.

  • Demonstrate safe behaviors during client visits and on job sites.

 

What We Are Looking For in Our Future Colleague :

  • Proficiency in both French and English (advanced English required for English-speaking markets).

  • B2B sales experience, ideally in equipment, machinery, or the construction industry.

  • Proven experience in prospecting and territory development.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong autonomy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • Positive, professional, and results-oriented attitude.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments.

  • Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

  • Comfortable with technology and digital tools (CRM, ERP, Outlook, Excel).

Salary and benefits

Offer starts at $70,000.00 base salary plus 1.5% commission.
